It is true that unless we work hand in hand with the government, rejuvenating tourism would be a tall order task for us. 

To begin, the government has to play a major role to rejuvenate tourism attractions. It is undeniable that the tourism industry has been suffering exceedingly for the last two years. Hence, the government needs to allocate a huge sum of money for tourism so that they can fulfil every loses. many pivotal accessories need regular repairing, otherwise, they would be destroyed. Accordingly, few amounts of money should be invested to make every accessory usable for visitors. Because visitors are always looking for getting the proper service of every appliance. Moreover, the allocated money can be spent on the beautification of tourist spots which will be helpful to attract local and international visitors. Increasing the number of hotels is also a key factor to enhance visitors attractions. Foreign travellers always searching for a qualified and magnificent hotel so that they can enjoy their journey by staying at the hotels. But it is a matter of great concern that there are many touristic spots where the number of hotels is not adequate, or even hotels are not situated near the tourist spot. Take Sylhet city as an example, this city is sought after for a couple of stunning and glamorous touristic spots, Jaflong, Ratarghul, Bichnakandi, for example. Although the view of these places is beyond explanation, there are a considerable scarcity of hotels. Visitors will hardly find any hotel where they can stay for a night or more than that. What is more, few hotels are located very far from the exact touristic spot. This would surely discourage visitors, especially foreign visitors to make short or long trips to Bangladesh since they would not find the availability of hotels. Therefore, the government ought to consider this issue highly and they need to figure out free spaces where they can build hotels. Only then the government can hold tourist attractions. 

Additionally, apart from allocating budget, increasing hotel numbers and facilities; there are few other productive initiatives that should be taken into account. Security protocol, on the other hand, is also of paramount importance in order to attract a large number of tourists. The stronger the security system, the higher the ratio of the visitors there will be. When travelers make a visit anywhere, they often feel unsafe about their personal stuff, such as cell phone, laptop, vehicles and so on. We often find evidence where travelers are the victim of snatching. Because of the less security system, travelers do not tend to make frequent visits at any place where the security system is extremely weak. Therefore, The local tourism authority should prioritize the security system as much as possible. Tourist areas should be monitored 24/7 by advanced technology. Since incidents, in most cases, occur at night, therefore, additional light has to be included in every street so that snatchers do not find audacity to do immoral work. On top of

that, every person on the inner side of the tourist boundary should be supervised rigidly. What is more, numerous efficient arm forces have to remain available constantly in terms of avoiding any terrorist attack. If these initiatives are executed properly, visitors will find enthusiasm to travel to any place. 

Another point to consider is that, due to the pandemic ample people have lost their job as well as many people’s salaries decreased considerably. Actually, the greater the amenities a tourist place will provide, the higher the proportion of the visitors there will be. Cleanliness, on the contrary, is also a pivotal factor to attract numerous tourists. It is indisputable that unless the touristic area is neat and clean, there will be less chance to have a number of visitors. There are ample touristic places where waste is thrown here and there and due to the excessive storage of wastes bad odour spread everywhere which is quite irritating for travellers. When visitors meet with this kind of bad experience, they are less likely to visit the place again. Accordingly, the tourism authority should manage the waste properly so that these are not stored in one particular place. Moreover, they have to keep their eyes on local inhabitants whether they are throwing waste in tourist areas or not. If the tourism authority renders a sustainable environment, then surely a massive number of tourists will tend to visit the place. 

To recapitulate, the tourism industry is a big asset for us and in order to rejuvenate the tourism attractions, few modifications are of dire need for the tourism authority. It is true that solely the government can not boost up the conditions of the touristic places unless we work together with them. Since tourism facilitates us either directly or indirectly, therefore, it is our principal obligation to enhance the popularity of tourism. However, all ideas that have been mentioned above ought to be implemented in a smart way because smart work can give us an effective outcome.
